Introducing - Konos 2

The everything
microphone

An 80-element MEMS array with switchable beam patterns and real-time noise filtering - the one microphone and recorder to have in your kit.

Konos 2 field recorder and microphone array

Switchable patterns · Multichannel recording

Three pattern sets. One mic.

Three switchable pattern sets - Narrow, Medium, Wide. Each captures a forward beam, its rear complement, and the real-time Konos Select mix, recorded to micro-SD as 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV.

Narrow

60° / 300° / Processed

A tight forward beam, its 300° rear complement, and the Konos Select mix - recorded together as a set.

Medium

100° / 260° / Processed

A wider 100° forward beam with matching 260° rear capture, plus the processed mix.

Wide

180° / 180° / Processed

Front and rear at 180° combine for full 360° coverage, alongside the processed mix.

For continuously variable beam width, see Konos Digital's Variable Cone Technology.

Konos Select

Clean dialogue, anywhere.

Real-time noise filtering isolates the voice from wind, traffic, and crowd noise as you record - so what you capture on location is already close to what you need in post.
